<p>Federal authorities said they were forced to fire at a boat packed with 25 illegal migrants from China who were hoping to reach the shores of Florida, according to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).</p>
<p>The Coast Guard caught the group about a mile south of Key Biscayne, Florida on June 10, DHS said. The migrants initially failed to comply with federal authorities&#8217; orders to stop, forcing the Coast Guard to deploy warning shots, which were ineffective.</p>
<p>The Coast Guardsmen then fired a &#8220;disabling&#8221; shot that stopped the boat without any reported injuries, according to DHS.</p>
<p>&#8220;By land or sea, our borders are CLOSED,&#8221; DHS said in an<a href="https://x.com/DHSgov/status/2067314866671493123"> X post</a> regarding the interception. &#8220;This sends a clear message to ANY illegal alien attempting to enter the United States: don’t even think about it.&#8221;</p>
<p>The Coast Guard crew transported the group of Chinese nationals for further processing. Authorities also seized their boat and transported it to the Coast Guard station in Miami Beach.</p>
<p>“Our Coast Guard crews, working closely with our local, state, and federal maritime law enforcement partners, remain vigilant in detecting and deterring unlawful maritime migration ventures,” Lieutenant Matthew Ross, commanding officer, Coast Guard Station Miami Beach, said.</p>
<p>“Anyone considering one of these dangerous voyages should understand that they are risking their lives at sea and can expect to be interdicted and repatriated,&#8221; Ross said.</p>
<p>The encounter follows an <a href="https://www.news.uscg.mil/Press-Releases/Article/4516342/correction-coast-guard-interdicts-17-aliens-near-sunset-cliffs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">incident</a> off the coast of San Diego, where the Coast Guard caught a group of 17 suspected illegal immigrant trying to reach the United States by boat. Coast Guard airmen spotted the vessel at around 1:18 a.m. on Sunday southwest of Point Loma.</p>
<p>A boat crew then responded and boarded the boat, where they found 10 claiming Mexican nationals, four claiming Guatemalan nationals, and two claiming Salvadoran nationals, along with one unaccompanied minor claiming Guatemalan.</p>
<p>The Coast Guard brought the migrants aboard one of their boats before handing them over to Customs and Border Protection (CBP).</p>
<p>On June 7, the Coast Guard <a href="https://www.news.uscg.mil/Press-Releases/Article/4514532/coast-guard-interdicts-9-aliens-near-coronado-island-calif/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">interdicted</a> nine Mexican illegal immigrants near Coronado Island, California. The group was transferred to the custody of Border Patrol.</p>
<p>Coast Guard Capt. Jason Hagen, who is the southwest district chief of enforcement, told <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/how-cartels-are-forced-to-shift-tactics-after-trump-crushed-their-human-smuggling-empire" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Daily Wire</a> in November that authorities were observing an uptick in smuggling interdictions.</p>
<p>“As you lock down the land border, the cartels will need to make their money, so they push to the maritime, to the water side. And, unfortunately, there is no border wall in the ocean; we’re challenged with the tyranny of distance,” Hagen said at the time.</p>

<p>One of the alleged ringleaders of the plot to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House over the weekend was seen in his mugshot flashing a creepy smile after his arrest.</p>
<p>The smiling suspect, 31-year-old Omaha resident Abraham Alvarez, allegedly posted his sinister plans to target President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and trillionaire Elon Musk in a Signal chat dubbed &#8220;Hunters&#8221; where he used the moniker &#8220;Shepherd.&#8221; Law enforcement arrested Alvarez, who is reportedly not an American citizen, on Sunday at an old church in the town of Western, Nebraska, according to NBC’s Omaha, Nebraska, affiliate WOWT.</p>

<p>The group allegedly planned to carry out the attack by detonating drones rigged with explosives over the event last Sunday before setting off a secondary strike on those evacuating with snipers.</p>
<p>In calling the shots, Alvarez allegedly assigned roles within the group, classifying certain members as “Sniper 1,” “Sniper 2,” “Sniper 3,” and “Drone Operator,” adding that he was “working” on drones “as we speak.”</p>
<p>Alvarez also shared his plans on June 10 for &#8220;the best action I see,&#8221; instructing members of the group to &#8220;position your teams in the purple dots (counter sniper and drones) Long range (circled area) (great shot) Easy out into the river&#8221; with a map of the nation&#8217;s capital attached, according to the complaint.</p>
<p>“They will try to close down the highways stick to meeting near the 495 bridge. Take the river south, there are back roads, you can also take the river,” he allegedly said in a follow-up message featuring a screenshot of the Potomac River.</p>
<p>He allegedly directed others to take back roads or the river to meet at a &#8220;pick up location&#8221; and pinpointed sites for drone launches and snipers. He also identified the Thomas Jefferson Memorial as the best escape route.</p>
<p>When other members of the conversation asked Alvarez about a &#8220;second wave&#8221; attack, he replied that &#8220;Several factions and militia have been notified,&#8221; according to the complaint.</p>
<p>&#8220;They will be the teeth and the Shepherds. I also sent out a mass call to action to all protest groups, that will bring numbers.(working on arming them). They will engage when they see the signal. Told them they know will know when they see it,&#8221; he wrote, according to the complaint, adding &#8220;at the same time, this day, several other ops are happening all at once. Keeps the enemy distracted while we cut the arteries.&#8221;</p>
<p>Alvarez identified an old church in Nebraska as a “fall back location” for the group, according to the complaint.</p>
<p>“They can grow the camp, and make a training ground we have the go ahead from the owner,” he allegedly wrote in the chat, adding, “grow your numbers, I will build your teams.”</p>
<p>“Train them, fall back location is NE in an old church,” he wrote, according to the complaint.</p>
<p>Another alleged attack plotter, 19-year-old Tycen Proper, said he learned of &#8220;an anti-government protest in Washington, D.C.,&#8221; through a TikTok from the user &#8220;Shepherd,&#8221; according to the complaint. It is not clear whether that was also Alvarez, who used the nickname in the Signal communications.</p>
<p>Proper also allegedly identified “Shepherd” as “the primary individual involved with planning” and “directly stated that Shepherd was the leader of the group and described him as aggressive in tactical planning.&#8221;</p>
<p>Authorities arrested both Alvarez and Proper, along with three others, for their alleged roles in forming the attack plans.</p>
<p>Some members of the group were said to have “expressed ultra-religious and antigovernment sentiments, specifically citing grievances about government corruption, the handling of the Epstein files, data centers taking up all the water in communities, and other government actions.”</p>

<p>A concerned mother called authorities over her son&#8217;s alleged role in plotting an attack at the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House over the weekend after she noticed alarming behavior.</p>
<p>Officers responded to the family&#8217;s home on the evening of June 10 after the mother, Danielle Proper, called about a &#8220;disturbance&#8221; involving her son Tycen Proper, according to a criminal complaint. She grew concerned over his recent firearms purchases and communications with random individuals online who claimed to be military veterans and Christians.</p>
<p>The 19-year-old allegedly used $3,000 of his graduation money to purchase “several boxes of ammunition (estimated by law enforcement to be in the thousands of rounds of ammunition), two plate carriers with AR-style magazines, an AR-style rifle, and a bullpup rifle painted with an American flag.&#8221; The weapons were turned over to law enforcement.</p>

<p>Proper was arrested in Ohio and hit with four criminal charges, including conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States, attempted murder against any officer or employee of the United States, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and receipt or transfer of a firearm used to commit a felony, according to the complaint.</p>
<p>Law enforcement authorities also arrested four others for their alleged roles in the plot.</p>
<p>Proper&#8217;s parents told authorities that the 19-year-old had recently quit his job and begun messaging online with unknown individuals about plans to carry out “missions” and “recons,” according to the complaint.</p>
<p>Proper&#8217;s family members said he had become increasingly isolated and recently made “sympathetic comments about Adolf Hitler” while “posting anti-Semitic comments on Facebook,” the complaint said.</p>
<p>Proper&#8217;s mother said her son&#8217;s conversations with his alleged coconspirators online led him &#8220;to lean heavily into his religion,&#8221; adding that &#8220;she believed that those individuals were using religion to manipulate and influence her son.&#8221;</p>
<p>Upon searching Proper&#8217;s phone, authorities found Signal groups “that laid out detailed plans” to carry out an attack in Washington, D.C., featuring maps of sniper positions and potential drone launch sites, according to the complaint. Proper later confessed to his leading role in “planning … a coordinated attack” during the UFC event at the White House.</p>
<p>Proper wrote in one of the chats on or about May 13 that he “got a possible target,&#8221; whom he identified as &#8220;Marsha Blackburn &#8230; senator for Tennessee,” saying they should target her for taking “money from the Israel pro Israel lobby and supports them,&#8221; according to the complaint.</p>
<p>On May 31, he allegedly sent messages saying, “These are people we’re going to focus on,” before sharing photos of Senator Jim Justice, Senator Shelley Moore Capito, Rep. Carol Miller, and Rep. Riley Moore. The four images appeared to have been taken from the website “TrackAIPAC.com,” which shows how much cash each lawmaker received “from pro-Israel PACS.”</p>

<p>Tycen Proper, with a group of nearly two dozen others, allegedly began prepping to carry out the attack with explosive-carrying drones before federal authorities learned of his desires and took him into custody.</p>
<p>Proper&#8217;s own mother, an Ohio-based cosmetologist, called authorities after his recent firearms purchases and communications with random individuals online who claimed to be military veterans and Christians, according to a criminal complaint viewed by The Daily Wire. The group allegedly planned to detonate explosive-laden drones over the UFC arena and to open fire as the crowd would evacuate.</p>

<p>Proper dubbed himself &#8220;a professional person, a geek,&#8221; adding &#8220;I&#8217;m very good with computers&#8221; in a 2021 TikTok post. That same year, he posted a video of himself playing &#8220;Squad,&#8221; which he described as a &#8220;realistic tactical shooter game. &#8220;I&#8217;ve been posting survival videos, shooter tactical videos called Squad &#8230; I&#8217;m posting total war videos,&#8221; he said in another TikTok video.</p>
<p>At the time, he also said in one video that he&#8217;s &#8220;not a type of person that gets into politics or any drama ever.&#8221;</p>
<p>When authorities searched Proper&#8217;s phone, they found Signal groups &#8220;that laid out detailed plans&#8221; to carry out an attack in Washington, D.C., with detailed maps highlighting sniper locations and potential drone launch locations. <p>Proper was arrested in Ohio and hit with four criminal charges, including conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States, attempted murder against any officer or employee of the United States, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a crime of violence, and receipt or transfer of a firearm used to commit a felony, according to the complaint.</p>
<p>At least 23 individuals are believed to have been part of the network plotting the attack. <p>Federal immigration agents captured the leader of two foreign terrorist organizations, who is accused of holding his own wife hostage after a chaotic car chase.</p>
<p>Felipe Linares De Oliveira Dell Aquilla, who goes by the moniker “Don,” led Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents on a chase through Mooresville, North Carolina, on June 5 before he crashed into stopped traffic and took off on foot, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) <a href="https://www.dhs.gov/news/2026/06/15/ice-arrests-illegal-alien-commander-foreign-terrorist-organization-who-held-his-own" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> Monday.</p>
<p>The agents eventually caught up to Aquilla, who was swiftly taken into custody. The State Department <a href="https://www.state.gov/releases/office-of-the-spokesperson/2026/05/terrorist-designation-of-comando-vermelho-and-primeiro-comando-da-capital" target="_blank" rel="noopener">classifies</a> the groups as &#8220;two of the most violent criminal organizations in Brazil,&#8221; saying they&#8217;ve &#8220;orchestrated brutal attacks against Brazilian police officers, public officials, and civilians.&#8221;</p>
<p>Law enforcement intelligence indicated that Aquilla was holding his own wife hostage as he was preparing to flee to Mexico, DHS said. During an interview with authorities, Aquilla&#8217;s wife confirmed that she had been held against her will.</p>
<p>Agents found numerous cell phones, laptops, money, and a 9mm handgun while searching Aquilla&#8217;s car.</p>
<p>“This arrest demonstrates the unwavering commitment of HSI to protect our communities from dangerous international criminals,&#8221; Mark M. Zito, Special Agent in Charge of HSI in North and South Carolina, said in a statement. &#8220;By removing a known leader of violent foreign terrorist organizations—wanted for serious crimes including criminal association and extortion—we have prevented further harm to innocent people here and abroad.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Our agents, working alongside dedicated state and local law enforcement partners, acted swiftly and decisively to ensure this individual will no longer threaten the safety of our neighborhoods. <p>Aquilla snuck across the border at an unknown time when he entered the United States.</p>

<p>Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers nabbed 117 illegal immigrants in a recent weeklong operation in Tennessee that took bad hombres with convictions for theft, domestic assault, driving while intoxicated, and attempted aggravated sexual battery off the streets, The Daily Wire has learned.</p>
<p>Federal immigration officers, with the help of local authorities, made the arrests from May 24 to May 31 across the Smoky Mountains, ICE said. Dramatic footage of the arrests showed the moments <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/illegal-immigrant-on-the-run-after-ramming-car-into-ice-agent?author=Jennie+Taer&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Illegal+Immigrant+On+The+Run+After+Ramming+Car+Into+ICE+Agent">ICE officers</a> took to the streets of East Tennessee before they handcuffed multiple suspects, some of whom were heavily tattooed, under the moonlight and in the pouring rain.</p>

<p>ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations New Orleans acting Field Office Director Brian Acuna credited the support of local law enforcement for the operation&#8217;s high arrest number.</p>
<p>“This enforcement operation demonstrates our commitment to protecting the safety of the community and its visitors,” Acuna said.</p>
<p>“By focusing our enforcement efforts on individuals who pose the greatest risk, and with the support of our 287(g) partners, we help ensure Tennessee communities remain safe for residents and tourists,&#8221; Acuna added.</p>
<p>Sevierville Police Deputy Chief Sam Hinson, whose officers helped ICE make the arrests, said their &#8220;partnership&#8221; with federal immigration officers &#8220;is working to create safer streets, protect families, and ensure Sevierville, Sevier County, and East Tennessee remain great places to live, work and enjoy.&#8221;</p>

<p>Among those arrested was Honduran national Jose Omar Euceda-Moreno, 37, who was previously caught five times for driving under the influence, according to ICE. He was twice convicted of driving under the influence, domestic assault, drug possession, and probation violation.</p>
<p>The arrest list also includes Denis Ariel Cabrera Castillo, 18, of Honduras, who was previously nabbed for solicitation of a minor/rape of a child, interference with an emergency call and attempted sexual battery, according to ICE. He pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated sexual battery and received a six-year prison sentence.</p>
<p>Officers also detained Honduran illegal immigrant Katherine Michelle Ocampo Figueroa, 29, who was previously deported from the United States, ICE said. Ocampo Figueroa had a rap sheet that includes an arrest for aggravated assault and a theft conviction.</p>
<p>ICE also busted Honduran national Gerson Alberto Dempster, 54, who was previously arrested for felony possession of cocaine, public intoxication and driving without a license, the agency said.</p>

<p>An illegal immigrant rammed his car into an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer during an arrest operation Monday, forcing the agent to fire back, The Daily Wire has learned.</p>
<p>Friedrich Castillo-Ormeno, an illegal immigrant from Peru, allegedly hit the officer as he was attempting to pull him over in Manahawkin, New Jersey, according to an ICE spokesperson. The officer discharged his weapon during the attack.</p>
<p>The officer was later transported to a local hospital for the treatment of his injuries, ICE said. Meanwhile, Castillo-Ormeno remains on the run after fleeing the scene.</p>
<p>&#8220;The FBI and local authorities are on the scene. This is a developing situation, and we will update the public when more information is available,&#8221; the ICE spokesperson said.</p>
<p>“There is a pattern of vehicle attacks against our officers. Our law enforcement officers are facing a 3,300% increase in vehicle attacks against them,&#8221; the spokesperson added.</p>
<p>Castillo-Ormeno was released into the United States under the Biden administration, ICE said. An immigration judge issued him a final deportation order on January 30.</p>
<p>The Daily Wire interviewed ICE officers in November who had been victims of the rising assaults on the job.</p>
<p>One of the officers spoke with us with 13 stitches in his upper lip and second-degree burns across his body after an illegal immigrant pedophile he was trying to arrest hurled a metal cup full of hot coffee into his face.</p>
<p>“We were stopping a vehicle. We had an individual who was a visa overstay from Mexico. We traffic stopped the vehicle,” the officer, who requested anonymity due to threats, recalled at the time.</p>
<p>“We were able to box the vehicle in, but the passengers bailed out, and a passenger, as he ran, threw what I thought was about a 32-ounce Yeti-style coffee cup in my face full of hot coffee,” the officer said.</p>
<p>Another ICE officer who spoke with us had been hit by an illegal immigrant driver. The officer said he was still being evaluated for possible nerve damage and a bone fracture.</p>
<p>“Everything we’ve always trained for, now we’re actually having to put into motion. The public, they’ve never seen us do our job, so now that we are actually doing it, people are taking matters into their own hands,” he said.</p>
<p>In response to an attempted vehicle ramming in January, an ICE officer fatally shot anti-ICE activist Renee Good who was said to be monitoring federal immigration activity in Minneapolis.</p>
<p>Good allegedly blocked the street with her car, keeping officers from entering for several minutes. After agents asked her to exit the vehicle, she was seen putting her car in reverse before moving in the direction of the officer who appeared to have taken a hit.</p>
<p>The incident sparked weeks-long anti-ICE protests and an eventual pullout of hundreds of federal immigration officers.</p>

<p>An illegal immigrant was working as a corrections officer in Maine before he was nabbed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).</p>
<p>ICE officers arrested Billy Maclarant Bassikissa Bounguiena, who hails from Congo, on June 9 after he overstayed his student visa by more than a decade, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) told The Daily Wire. Bassikissa Bounguiena also had an arrest from 2019 for domestic violence, but prosecutors ultimately declined to file charges against him in that case, law enforcement sources said.</p>
<p>Cumberland County District Attorney Jacqueline Sartoris said the case didn&#8217;t proceed because there wasn&#8217;t any physical contact during the alleged assault, despite allegations that Bassikissa Bounguiena threw something at a woman, <a href="https://www.pressherald.com/2026/06/11/cumberland-county-officials-criticize-ice-after-another-corrections-officer-is-detained/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the Portland Press Herald.</p>
<p>The Cumberland County Sheriff&#8217;s Office said it hired Bassikissa Bounguiena in August 2024 after conducting &#8220;the same comprehensive background screening and rigorous vetting process&#8221; as other officers in the department. He also had a work permit at the time of his hiring, according to the sheriff&#8217;s office.</p>
<p>&#8220;While he has been employed, he has been a valued member of our team, with no discipline issues. He has demonstrated dedication to his duties and often works overtime,&#8221; the sheriff&#8217;s office said.</p>
<p>Bounguiena came to the United States on November 15, 2015 on a student visa, which expired December 4, 2015, according to DHS. He was supposed to leave on a flight in 2017, but never boarded the plane, according to law enforcement sources.</p>
<p>“He refused to depart the country, in violation of our laws. This criminal illegal alien will remain in ICE custody, pending removal proceedings,&#8221; a Homeland Security spokesperson said.</p>
<p>“Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, criminal illegal aliens are not welcome in the United States,&#8221; the spokesperson added.</p>
<p>The Trump administration&#8217;s mass deportation campaign has exposed a trend of police department employing illegal immigrants.</p>
<p>ICE officers <a href="https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/ice-arrests-illegal-alien-serving-local-police-officer-after-attempting-unlawfully" target="_blank" rel="noopener">caught</a> Jon Luke Evans, an illegal immigrant from Jamaica, in July 2025 when he was attempting to buy a firearm for his role as a police officer with the Old Orchard Beach Police Department in Maine.</p>
<p>In January, ICE arrested an<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-orleans-police-recruit-turns-out-to-be-illegal-immigrant-fraudster"> illegal immigrant</a> from Cameroon who was accused of fraud and was just one week away from graduating the New Orleans Police Department academy, <a href="https://x.com/BillMelugin_/status/2018762909602721977?s=20" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to Fox News. The department said they learned that Larry Temah received a deportation order after he applied for the role.</p>
<p>Federal immigration officers also arrested Radule Bojovic, an illegal immigrant from Montenegro, who was working as a police officer for the Hanover Police Department in Illinois in October.</p>
<p>A judge later granted Bojovic a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/judge-releases-illegal-immigrant-cop-from-ice-custody" target="_blank" rel="noopener">$2,500 immigration bond</a> and he has since <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/illegal-immigrant-cop-previously-nabbed-by-ice-returns-to-work-for-illinois-police-department" target="_blank" rel="noopener">returned</a> to work with the Hanover Police Department.</p>

<p>The Somali World Cup referee who was denied entry to the United States earlier this month was &#8220;talking to some very bad people&#8221; just before his arrival, White House World Cup task force director Andrew Giuliani told CBS News on Sunday.</p>
<p>Federal authorities blocked Omar Artan from entering the United States after he arrived at Miami International Airport from Istanbul on June 6.</p>
<p>A senior administration official later told The Daily Wire that Customs and Border Protection (CBP) had discovered “derogatory information,” including his “association with suspected members of terror organizations.” That information made him ineligible to enter the country to officiate matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026.</p>
<p>Officially, CBP said they determined that Artan was “inadmissible due to vetting concerns and was denied entry” during routine processing.</p>
<p>“Admissibility determinations are made on a case-by-case basis using law enforcement, national security, and immigration information available at the time of inspection,” CBP said. “CBP officers have the authority to question travelers, conduct inspections, and determine admissibility consistent with U.S. law.”</p>
<p>Giuliani declined to share the specifics of Artan&#8217;s alleged communications, citing &#8220;classified information&#8221; that &#8220;may be released&#8221; in the future.</p>
<p>&#8220;But what I can tell you is it was the right decision by CBP, it was the right decision by the secretary of Homeland Security, and I stand by that decision,&#8221; Giuliani said.</p>
<p>&#8220;We can&#8217;t talk about the contact of who he was contacting in particular, but what I can tell you is that communication was happening before he was coming to the United States. It was not a few years before, this was immediately before he was coming to the United States,&#8221; he added.</p>
<p>FIFA released a statement on Artan’s behalf, confirming that the referee would not be able to participate in World Cup events.</p>
<p>“Despite the circumstances, I am in a positive mood and I am focused on the next challenges in my refereeing career,” the Somali referee said in the statement.</p>
<p>“I would like to thank FIFA and (the African federation) for all their support and I promise to keep my refereeing levels up as I concentrate on the future. I want to thank the football family for their messages and wish my colleagues all the best success during the World Cup and I look forward to joining them again in future competitions,&#8221; he added.</p>

<p>Ibrahim Khadra, a British national and beIN Sports broadcaster, has posted on social media in recent days indicating that he&#8217;s in the United States. In one post from June 7, Khadra wrote that he was awaiting the arrival of the Algerian soccer team at the airport in Kansas City, indicating that he&#8217;s in the country to cover the World Cup.</p>
<p>In a June 8 letter, the Lawfare Project asked Secretary of State Marco Rubio to revoke Khadra&#8217;s visa for his &#8220;glorifying the terrorist activities of Hamas and Hezbollah, both designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Your Department has exercised exactly this authority in comparable cases. The same authority should be applied here to a foreign national who has celebrated the slaughter of civilians and presents, based upon his prior documented conduct, a concrete risk of converting a World Cup credential into a platform for terrorist glorification on American soil,&#8221; the letter read.</p>
<p>&#8220;We urge the Department to act before that platform is furnished,&#8221; it added.</p>

<p>On the first anniversary of the October 7 massacre, Khadra wrote that &#8220;the hypocritical leaders in Europe and the United States repeated the same lies, expressing sympathy for the victims of a single day of resistance, while conveniently ignoring 365 days of far greater brutality and terror, during which countless more lives were lost and affected,&#8221; adding &#8220;They lack the true values of humanity we hold #shame #FreePalestine.&#8221;</p>
<p>Khadra <a href="https://archive.md/PRn6a#selection-619.0-637.2" target="_blank" rel="noopener">posted</a> a picture of late Hamas founder Ahmed Yassin in May 2021 with the caption &#8220;Good news foretold by the Sheikh of the Mujahideen, Ahmed Yassin, may God have mercy on him, more than 20 years ago.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I ask God to hasten the end of oppression and occupation from the land of pride and dignity, Palestine,&#8221; he wrote.</p>
<p>He also <a href="https://archive.md/0cXKl#selection-659.0-665.83" target="_blank" rel="noopener">shared</a> his &#8220;condolences&#8221; after the assassination of senior Hamas official Ismail Haniyeh in a July 2024 X post.</p>
<p>The organization also wrote to Homeland Security officials asking them to initiate removal proceedings against Khadra, making him amenable to deportation from the United States.</p>
<p>&#8220;This referral follows a recognized and recently exercised enforcement sequence: the Department of State revokes a nonimmigrant visa on terrorism-related grounds, the visa holder&#8217;s lawful basis for presence is extinguished, and ICE may detain and place the individual in removal proceedings,&#8221; the Lawfare Project wrote.</p>
<p>&#8220;Mr. Khadra&#8217;s documented pattern of glorifying Hamas and Hezbollah terrorists, while exploiting U.S.-hosted international sporting events, poses a direct risk to public safety and to U.S. counterterrorism policy,&#8221; the group added.</p>
<p>Gerard Filitti, Senior Counsel with The Lawfare Project who signed the referrals, told The Daily Wire that the case exposes &#8220;a systemic flaw with our immigration screening process that the Trump administration has very appropriately put additional emphasis on screening visa applicants from a lot of countries, but when it comes to traditionally allied nations or friendly nations like the UK or the European Union, perhaps that&#8217;s a back door that&#8217;s being exploited.&#8221;</p>
<p>A State Department spokesperson said they couldn&#8217;t comment on &#8220;specific cases due to visa record confidentiality,&#8221; but said the country &#8220;is well prepared to welcome legitimate travelers from around the globe for the largest and greatest FIFA World Cup in history.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;At the same time, the Administration will not waver in upholding U.S. law and the highest standards of national security and public safety in the conduct of our visa process,&#8221; the spokesperson said.</p>
<p>In one recent action, federal authorities blocked the entrance of a Somali World Cup referee because he associated with “suspected members of terror organizations.&#8221;</p>

<p>The spokesperson added that the department adjudicates &#8220;each visa application on a case-by-case basis after rigorous review and thorough vetting to determine whether the individual is eligible under U.S. law.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;Vetting is a continuous process, and applicants are vetted before, during, and after consular adjudication. After issuance of a visa, if the Department becomes aware of new, potentially adverse information, a consular officer reviews that information to determine whether the applicant remains eligible for a visa,&#8221; the spokesperson said.</p>
<p>Khadra didn&#8217;t respond to multiple requests for comment.</p>

<p>Federal authorities recently uncovered a scheme carried out by court officials in Utah who helped illegal immigrants evade Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).</p>
<p>Jennifer Joma, 27, and Lauren Kelsey Morrow, 26, have been charged with assisting several illegal immigrants avoid arrest after ICE agents arrived at the Logan City Municipal Justice Court on April 9, according to the <a href="https://www.justice.gov/usao-ut/pr/two-former-utah-court-clerks-arrested-and-facing-federal-charges-after-allegedly-helping">Justice Department</a>.</p>
<p>When ICE agents showed up at the courthouse with an administrative warrant to arrest an illegal immigrant inside, Joma and Morrow allegedly misused court databases to identify who was illegally in the United States before escorting them out of the building, the Justice Department announced Wednesday.</p>
<p>According to prosecutors, the two women began intercepting illegal immigrants, including ICE&#8217;s target, as they were leaving the courthouse and then moved them down several hallways before helping them slip through the back door, allowing them to avoid federal agents.</p>

<p>The department said Joma later drove three illegal immigrants away from the courthouse in her vehicle before returning to work alone.</p>
<p>Morrow and Joma were captured on surveillance video waving and smiling at the camera as Morrow flashed her middle finger, according to the press release.</p>
<p>Joma and Morrow were arrested and charged with conspiracy to transport and harbor illegal aliens, harboring illegal aliens, and obstruction of proceedings before departments and agencies. Joma also faces an additional charge of transporting illegal aliens.</p>
<p>The case marks the latest prosecution of public officials accused of interfering with federal immigration enforcement.</p>
<p>It follows the conviction of Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan, who was found guilty of felony obstruction after helping an illegal immigrant evade ICE. She was acquitted on a misdemeanor charge of concealing a wanted person.</p>
<p>Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said the Trump administration has &#8220;zero tolerance&#8221; for such behavior.</p>
<p>&#8220;You don&#8217;t get to choose which laws you&#8217;re going to enforce, just like we don&#8217;t pick and choose which laws we&#8217;re going to enforce,&#8221; Mullin said.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our biggest hindrance are these left, Democrat politicians that are defunding the police and that&#8217;s got to stop,&#8221; he added.</p>
